The April Subscription box was a hit, and it was perfect over the Easter and Anzac breaks, and we will confess to having a wee tipple a couple of nights during the school holidays after the kids had gone to bed and the house was quiet.
The Potager Gin from Whanganui Distillery Co, (Papiti Gin) is a wonderful taste of Autumn in a bottle. Lemon, orange, grapefruit with a warming hint of liquorice root. Our favorite time to drink this was as the sun was setting and the autumn lights were in the sky, this was the perfect way to close off the day, and celebrate the evening ahead.
This Potager Gin is so smooth and not overly dry. As much as we don't like sharing our gins (jokes) this gin is the perfect gin for everyone. We added Alchemy & Tonic's Grapefruit and Thyme Tonic and it added more delightful citrus notes with a slightly herbal nose. So good over ice, and this combo was difficult to just stop at one.
